For every aspiring routesetter looking to build a strong foundation. In this course, you will learn about safety, equipment & holds, working methods, quality & comfort and teamwork. After completing the 3 workshops there will be an exam, which is mandatory for the (NKBV) certificate.

MAIN COURSE SUBJECTS

Safety: Focussing on routesetter safety and user safety
Equipment: How to work with tools and hardware (lead), learning about types of hold & materials
Working methods: Learn how to work efficient and healthy
Quality & comfort: What do we mean with quality routesetting and why is it important?
Teamwork: Routesetting is teamwork, learn how to work together and give and receive feedback

Entry level: No routesetting experience needed - minimum climbing level 6b boulder / 6c lead

Practical information: climbing gear needed, routesetting materials provided
