MatchIt!

As from now we are distributing MatchIt! holds in the Netherlands!

MatchIt! creates high-end wooden climbing holds and macros that are beautifully shaped, durable, and unique. The natural wooden material brings a warm, organic look to a climbing gym, something we find especially interesting and aesthetically pleasing in a space where we spend so much time climbing on plastic.

We love the shapes they offer. They feel different and fresh compared to many other brands on the market. They are comfortable, playful, and give route setters plenty of opportunities to experiment with new setups and movements.

For the National Climbing Center, we ordered three routes’ worth of holds, and it was a pleasure to set with them. The lines are subtle, so placing the holds in a way that made them work together visually almost happened automatically. The no-texture surface gives you the opportunity to eliminate options while setting and really guides the climber towards the intended movement.

And they climb incredibly comfortably. Everything is beautifully rounded, and the shapes are a real pleasure to hold.

A few other things we really appreciate:

• Steel inserts in every screw hole, making the holds durable and suitable for repeated reset rounds.

• A strong coating all around the holds, including underneath, making them easy to wash without any hassle.

• Great reactions from climbers. We noticed a lot of enthusiasm from our customers, and we honestly think these have become some of their favourite holds. Almost everyone who stepped into the space had something to say about them!

We can only recommend adding MatchIt! holds to your gym. They are a beautiful and functional addition to all the plastic we normally climb on and a great way to bring something different into your space.
