New upcoming course; the comp experience.

Due to a busy first half of 2026, we did not host any routesetting courses. But the good news is: the second half of this year is stacked with opportunities. In addition to that, we are adding a new location to our calendar: the National Climbing Center in Nieuwegein.

So, what’s happening this year? Like last year, we will host the SET INTRO’s and SET FUNDAMENTALS again. Check our course page for more information and tickets for these courses.

But we are working on something new. Until now, our courses have mostly catered to beginner routesetters, but we have something cooking for the advanced setters! We know how difficult it can be to get a chance to set for a competition, let alone have a useful learning experience from an experienced chief.

Designing a competition is much more than setting a risky or complex boulder.

For that reason, we are developing a course where you can fully experience a bouldering competition, from groundwork and planning to setting and testing, and of course, comp day. This will all be guided by two very experienced national and international competition setters, who will lead you through the process and ultimately create a real competition with several rounds.

That’s all we’re saying for now, but keep your eyes and ears open.
